Qualified Teacher of English (also a teacher of Geography and Physical Education)

I am an experienced English (ESL), Geography and Physical Education Teacher. I am also a WJEC and EDUQAS CPD Presenter for GCSE/GCE Physical Education.

I am an experienced qualified teacher with over five years teaching experience in the U.K. and International based Secondary Schools, Sixth Form Colleges and Universities. Two years of which were Head of A-Level Geography and Physical Education. I have also taught English (ESL) at one of the largest female university's in the World, known as Princess Nora University in Riyadh, for one year.

I am also currently a CPD presenter for the Welsh Exam Board WJEC/EDUQAS for A-Level and GCSE PE as and when required; and so I am in possession of excellent public speaking and presentation skills.

I have experience working with local communities in bottom-up schemes with NGOs, which involved developing resources and teaching in challenging environments. I have taught Geography and PE lessons in developing countries such as Zambia; where education was used as an outreach mechanism to deliver workshops on the myths and misconceptions of HIV and AIDS in the communities surrounding the capital of Lusaka.

I was previously employed as a mentor and private tutor to students at risk of disengagement during my undergraduate degree programme. This was where one-to one action plans were constructed and implemented with GCSE students; so that they were able to take responsibility for their time-management and learning.
