English Teacher for all the levels

I, Janitha Nishan Bandara Ekanayake, have been employed as an Educator in English and Teacher Educator at a number of reputed tertiary-level educational institutes for the last six years. I possess a Bachelor's (honors) degree in English (Second Class - Upper Division), M. A. in Linguistics (English), and several professional qualifications in teaching, including CELTA (Pass B), University of Cambridge, UK; the Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, Arizona State University, USA; the Certificate in Teaching in Higher Education, University of Colombo, Sri Lanka.

As I have enrolled for my postgraduate studies at the University of Exeter, Exeter, UK, I am currently looking for opportunities to expand my professional exposure by being employed in novel teaching capacities.

Having successfully completed multiple teacher training programmes, I have been trained to identify and understand individual learner needs. Hence, I have the ability to design lessons prioritising what the learner expects. Years of experience in both traditional and technologically driven classrooms have nourished me to bring diversity into classroom activities, as well.
