I Will be an English teacher to students

Hi!

My lessons are adapted to your ability level of course. The four pillars of learning any language, reading comprehension, writing, speaking and listening form the basis of my lessons.

We always start with some warm up activities, a little chat about how your week has been etc. If you are a returning student we'll then go over the previous lessons objectives and see what you can remember. If I set any homework this will be the time to go over that too.

The bulk of the lesson will focus on one of the four pillars. We'll try to incorporate new vocabulary always as well as new grammatical structures and tenses, depending on your level.

For example, for a writing lesson incorporating the past tense, I would ask you to write some sentences on your favourite films and when you watched them. We can then move through vocabulary exercises relating to films and I would finally ask for a written paragraph on a time you went to the cinema.

I am to correct any mistakes as we go, so that you can see where there are gaps in your knowledge. Over time I can then build a language map for you and we focus on those areas of weakness.

I believe a good lesson is when my students are engaged and using the target language as much as possible, meaning the lesson dynamic will very much be me helping you work through the activities simply as a guide, with you taking an active role in using the language!
