As an American with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English from Texas State University-San Marcos, I've had the privilege of working with learners of all ages, backgrounds, and nationalities. My educational philosophy revolves around the importance of trying and the persistence and the belief that everyone is capable of growth and learning.

Throughout my dynamic career, I've gained a wealth of experience, from earning my secondary education certification to being an au pair in Italy, to working as a language assistant in France, and currently, as an ELL teacher at an international school. Additionally, as an online English language teacher with the esteemed Chinese education platform VIPKid, I've seen firsthand how technology can be used to bring together students from different corners of the globe and foster cultural exchange.

My passion lies in leveraging technology to enhance the learning experience and create dynamic, interactive lessons that cater to diverse learning styles. Pursuing a master's degree in smart education technology will allow me to learn more about the latest advances in the field and how they can be applied in real-world settings. I'm particularly interested in exploring how artificial intelligence and machine learning can be used to personalize the learning experience and help students achieve their full potential.
