Hello dear students, my name is Jade and this is my first time EVER taking an interest into teaching anything. To be fair, it was never a part of my plan but I recently came across that platform and I felt like "hey, that's actually a good idea!".

Hello dear students, my name is Jade and this is my first time EVER taking an interest into teaching anything. To be fair, it was never a part of my plan but I recently came across that platform and I felt like "hey, that's actually a good idea!".
I am 19 years old, Ivorian (West Africa) born and raised but also French with an Irish background. That's a lot to process, isn't it? But I think that this diversity makes me special (and we all are).
In my free time I like to go to the library near where I live and progress into that one book I cannot seem to finish ("The Picture of Dorian Gray" by Oscar WILDE) or watch "Gilmore Girls" while eating some homemade delicacies. Most importantly, I spend most of my time studying. I love studying and that is why I volunteered here, to be able to share that incredible feeling that academical success gives me. Even though I grew up in a house with a bilingual father, I had to be really consistent to be where i am right now with my english skills. I am proudly self-taught. I did get some basics from school but I do not believe that we should limit ourselves to that surface-level knowledge if we truly yearn for sheer fluency. We should study a language for the love of it, and being rewarded for it is also a good way to keep pushing, even when it gets really hard and we can't seem to find the end of the tunnel of despairs.
I want to be that helping hand that gives some little goodies when you do your best :).
