Nice to meet you, I'm Audrey, a native French speaker from France, and that's exactly why I'm here.
I speak 4 languages myself: French, English, Italian, and Spanish (and currently learning a 5th one: Arabic) so I get you because I also had to overcome my fears and challenge myself before becoming comfortable talking with native speakers.
I studied English and Spanish for many years at school but the truth is the language I now master the most is Italian, while I learned it on my own. I started traveling to Italy in 2017 and then lived there for a couple of years, starting from being a complete beginner to now Italian people thinking I'm Italian.
During those years, I started helping foreigners improve their French by giving French classes online, and did that until 2020, when I went back to corporate life in France.
However, I continued meeting foreigners and making friends from all over the world, and recently I realized how many foreigners live in France but don't actually speak it because they have very basic French or a wrong pronunciation and lack confidence, so they never actually improve their French and get stuck where they are.
If you're here, I know you're probably one of them too. I know how intimidating it is, but practicing really is the key to mastering a language. And in order to make progress, you'll have to get out of your comfort zone.
But let me tell you something: this doesn't have to be annoying, embarrassing, or painful. Not if you practice with me.
Why? Because I'll help you practice conversational French while correcting your pronunciation, guiding you with native expressions, and giving some insights about French culture and way of living. No grammar or boring exercises.
