Iam an English language teacher with more than 5 years of experience teaching kids of age 10 to 17

With more than 5 years of experience in the teaching field, l have devised a systematic way of learning English. Leaving aside the traditional mundane teaching i have incorporated games and activities in classes. I want the classes to be more interactive and not a mere lecture. I can assure that the students will end up loving English language and literature by the end of the course. I intend to teach the students the four language skills, that is listening, reading, speaking and writing. Also the students will get an opportunity to delve into English literature and are encouraged to produce their own creative writing. I expect my students to complete the given work over the weekend and be creative with it as well. It should be their own work and not copied from anywhere. Besides classes I would like my students to go on field trips to indulge more into using the language. The classes will contain movie time or literature time to improve their language skills. Through the introduction of literature, which would be classics, novels, poems etc, I aim to broaden their imagination and produce similar contents on their own. There will be reading time and pupils are expected to read a passage and bring forward their understanding about the text. The students will also be asked to enact a play, preparing themselves as the characters. As a bilingual myself, i understand the difficulty and hindrance in learning another language other than our mother tongue. Keeping that in mind I ensure great language opportunity to every student who seek knowledge from me.
