Hello!

My name is Irene and I offer English and Spanish online lessons for different levels and age groups as well as dance lessons in the categories of Salsa, Bachata, Flamenco and Ballet.

I've always loved learning languages myself. I graduated as a TESOL teacher in Spain and started teaching right away in Madrid's Public Schools. After that, I moved to the USA, Washington, DC where I have spent the last 11 years as a multifaceted language and elementary school teacher working with multilingual students.

I'm an expert in using Comprehensible Input Strategies during my lessons using a multisensory and dynamic approach to keep students highly engaged. My goal is to help learners make progress paying attention to their learning styles so they can feel comfortable during the lessons. I teach children, youth and adults.

Dancing is my other passion!
i have always studied dance since I was little. I have training in Classical Ballet, Flamenco and Spanish Folk Dances. Lately I have been more focused on West African Traditional Dances, Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba. I have studied in NYC with some of the best Salsa and Bachata teachers of the world and I have performed in stages across Spain and the USA. I usually travel worldwide to attend dance congresses and events.

Each lesson is 60 min and the price is 20 euro. However, I offer a free 30-min consultation where we can get to know each other and see if we're a good fit.

Cancellation / modification of the lesson is possible 24 hours before the start of the lesson. Within 24 hours I will charge the full price.
